Fancy is Director of Development at TSIP leading and overseeing work on strategy, design, partnerships and communications. Fancy brings over 15 years-experience in business development, fundraising, philanthropy, strategy, policy, social innovation, youth and refugee work.
She joins us from City Year UK, the youth education and volunteering charity where she was Head of Development and Interim Director of Development. Fancy previously held senior roles at the East End Community Foundation and The Young Foundation and started her career in policy working for the ippr, the International Association for the Study of Forced Migration (IASFM) and Migration Policy Institute. She was also a proud trustee of Praxis Community Projects, an advice and support charity for migrants and refugees based in East London, and a Non-Executive Director of Praxis Enterprises.
In an earlier life, Fancy was also a US Congressional intern and a volunteer for the American Church in London Soup Kitchen. A graduate of the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, USA, Fancy is a lover of languages and endeavours to enhance her proficiency in Lao, Thai, and Spanish.
